At Wrecsam Rhinos RUFC, our mission is to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals of all backgrounds, abilities and identities can come together to enjoy the sport of rugby.

JOIN US

 

We train every Wednesday, from 7pm till 9pm at Wrexham Rugby Club, Bryn Estyn Rd, Wrexham. LL13 9TY

 

New players are always welcome to join us. We run taster sessions throughout the year, or come along and watch a training session, have a chat with one of the team or contact us via Facebook.

 

USEFUL TO KNOW

KIT

 

If you're new to rugby, trainers, shorts and t-shirt are good to begin with. Old football or rugby boots are a bonus.

Eventually it's good to progress onto proper rugby kit as it's more hard wearing and can take the rough and tumble.

FACILITIES

 

Changing facilities and communal showers are available if you’d like to use them, but you’re also welcome to arrive already changed if you prefer.

SOCIAL 

 

We have an events / social manager arranging all sorts of activities throughout the year. From mountain walks to fun days out. It's not all drinking!

 

AGE & EXPERIENCE

 

We have members from 17 to 55 with a wide range of experience. To play matches you need to be 18+

We have a development team for those new to the game, so we won't just throw you in at the deep end.

COST

 

Our "Give rugby a try" and taster sessions are free for the first 4 weeks.

If you like us and want to join, membership options start from just £2 a week.

MATCHES & IGR

 

Wrecsam Rhinos RUFC compete in the IGR Division One North League and also play a range of friendly matches throughout the season, both at home and away.
